Restaurant LEADERSHIP (with experience)

About the role

A Team Leader is the face of the restaurant during their shift and is responsible for ensuring each guest walks away having a remarkable experience. This role is generally offered as a full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Participate operationally in day-to-day activities in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant.
• Encourage the team to stay true to 2nd Mile Service goals.
• Respond immediately and respectfully to guests' needs.
• Assist in training new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for the team.
• Be a friendly, encouraging team player.
• Open and/or close the restaurant, lead shifts, and act as a key holder.
• Count drawers and finalize the day.
• Demonstrate excellent written and spoken communication skills.

Prior experience as a shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, or restaurant assistant manager is very helpful for success in this role.
