From our humble beginnings as a mobile coffee truck on the streets of San Diego in 2013, Perky Beans Coffee has grown up and laid down roots in Leander, Texas. We are family-owned and operated, and since 2021, we've offered two concepts under one roof. Perky Beans Coffee is our complete coffeehouse with a drive-thru, offering a variety of delicious beverages as well as quick bites. Located right next door is PB Cafe, where our customers can sit down and order all the breakfast classics as well as items from our tasty lunch menu. Our mission is to serve delectable recipes with quality ingredients that keep our customers coming back. We are passionate about food and customer service. Additionally, we strive to be a partner with the community and support many local schools and non-profits in the Leander and Liberty Hill areas.

About the role

As a Restaurant Host / Hostess, you make a great first impression on our customers as they walk through the door. You warmly greet guests and lead them to their tables with a friendly and attentive demeanor that sets the tone for a fun and upbeat brunch experience. As a popular local restaurant, we're often busy, and your organizational skills make you the perfect person to take initiative and keep things running smoothly. You expertly manage the waitlist, providing accurate wait times and keeping guests informed. When things get hectic, you don't hesitate to step in - whether it's bussing tables to speed up seating, restocking stations, or assisting with online order pickups. You proactively look for ways to enhance the guest experience, ensuring everyone feels valued and welcome. As an enthusiastic team player, you're always ready to help with opening and closing duties, keeping the restaurant clean and presentable. You thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same, and you take pride in creating a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for every guest who walks through our doors!

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests and lead them to their tables
• Manage the waitlist and provide accurate wait times
• Keep guests informed and enhance their experience
• Assist with bussing tables, restocking stations, and online order pickups
• Help with opening and closing duties
• Maintain a clean and presentable restaurant environment

Requirements

• 18+ years of age
• Customer service experience
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing throughout the shift, bending, climbing, moving quickly, and lifting up to 25 pounds
• Restaurant experience is preferred
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
• Commitment to providing prompt customer service
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Highly organized and efficient

Pay

Competitive wage plus tips, totaling approximately $17 - $19/hr.

Schedule

Morning and evening shifts available. Weekend availability required.
