Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in assigned dining area.
- Provide assistance to guests and employees as needed.
- Greet guests upon arrival and escort them to appropriate tables.
- Maintain order and cleanliness in the dining room.
- Report complaints to management on duty.
- Schedule food servers and bus persons, position chairs and tables, and assign station groupings.
- Distribute checks, handle comps, food coupons, and Player cards.
- Ensure proper check and cash control procedures are carried out.
- Acknowledge guests' departures and thank them.
- Complete special assignments for management as requested.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to read and write English sufficiently to perform the job.
- One year experience as a food server.
- Some knowledge of food service.
- NJ CER license required.
