About the role

As a Restaurant Host Cashier, you will provide fast, friendly, and professional customer service to restaurant guests and staff. You’ll greet and welcome guests, seat them according to rotation requirements, and maintain proper seating and reservation documentation. You’ll monitor table availability, assist wait staff and bus persons, and complete closing duties at the end of your shift. You’ll also promote current casino events, guide guests to casino areas, and ensure they have a seamless experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests entering the restaurant.
• Seat guests according to specified rotation requirements and maintain reservation documentation.
• Monitor restaurant for table availability.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including the cashiering station, in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Assist wait staff and bus persons with duties such as refilling water glasses, pre-bussing, and attending to guest needs.
• Complete assigned closing duties at the end of the shift.
• Promote current casino events and programs, and provide directions to guests.
• Ensure guests are thanked, invited back, and encouraged to return to play.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience in a high-volume operation preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
• Ability to respond to visual and oral cues.

Pay

Starting salary: $14.00 per hour + tips (average $80 per shift). Up to $22.00 per hour.

Schedule

Varies (may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime).
