Responsibilities

Oversees the development and implementation of departmental strategies and ensures implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives.

Ensures the food and beverage/culinary operation meets the brand’s target customer needs, ensures employee satisfaction, and focuses on growing revenues and maximizing the financial performance of the department.

Develops and implements strategies that delivers products and services to exceed the needs and expectations of the brand’s target customers and property employees and provides a return on investment.

Selects and talent manages and develops our Restaurant team, working closely with the Food and Beverage leadership team in designing the menus and wine lists.

Controls costs through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, inventory control and cost control measures, observes and makes recommendations for improvement of facilities and equipment where required.

Highly visible in the operation, providing recognition, promoting good public relations and taking care of special requests with dedication to providing an attentive and distinctive experience for our guests.

Qualifications

  • A passion for ensuring you and your team deliver the highest of standards consistently and ensuring exceptional service and attention to our guests.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong, innovative mindset.
  • The ability to react and adjust to changing business environments and lead the team in ensuring efficient financial management of the business.
  • The ability to motivate and lead a team of professionals.
  • Applicants are required to have at least 4 years experience of fine dining, luxury, or Michelin Star Management Experience.
  • Must possess valid Food Handler’s card.
  • Knowledge of Forbes service standards.
  • The ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Advanced wine and spirit knowledge and service training.
