About the role

The Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia is seeking a Restaurant General Manager at Jean-Georges to join their Food & Beverage team. The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for developing and operating a cost-effective operation which exceeds guest expectations through the service of high quality food and beverages in a clean and comfortable atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and operate a cost-effective operation which exceeds guest expectations through the service of high quality food and beverages in a clean and comfortable atmosphere.
  • Overall responsibility for all aspects of the restaurant; in particular, as related to sales, profit and the development of people.

Requirements

  • Possess a passion for flawless service and the highest level of integrity and work ethic.
  • Seeking individuals with six years’ experience as a Restaurant General Manager in a high volume, high end establishment.
  • Prior experience in various capacities in all positions in a restaurant preferred.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • A proven track record for guest satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in all aspects of fine dining service.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage as well as accounting and administration tasks.
  • Proficiency in all aspects of cost control.
  • Strong knowledge of wine/beverage programs.
  • Ability to handle all guest complaints in a timely manner.
  • Strong team player skills promoting a team atmosphere through an effective management style.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
  • Guest centricity and understanding the importance of guest’s preferences.

Qualifications

  • Valid work authorization for the U.S.
