Restaurant General Manager

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory, and financial performance
• Lead, train, and develop team members to deliver excellent customer service
• Maintain compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and food quality standards
• Monitor and analyze sales, labor, and cost controls to meet or exceed targets
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming restaurant environment
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally
• Recruit, hire, and retain high-performing team members
• Implement local marketing initiatives to drive traffic and sales
• Ensure proper cash handling procedures and financial reporting

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• 2–5 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in quick-service or fast-food environments
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Proficiency in basic computer systems and restaurant management software
