Restaurant General Manager

About the role

We are seeking a successful Restaurant General Manager with 5+ years of experience managing high-volume restaurants (200–300 covers) in an upscale, food-focused environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about food and community engagement, committed to staff development, and dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences for both team members and guests. As an ambassador for Indigo Road, you will champion internal hospitality, oversee all aspects of the restaurant—operations, finances, people, culture, events—and authentically represent our brand.

Responsibilities

• Lead with passion for restaurant, F&B, and hospitality; participate in volunteer and charity initiatives.
• Nurture and develop staff, fostering a positive atmosphere that supports P&L goals.
• Engage with local vendors, businesses, and farms to source quality products; educate junior team members and advocate for their growth.
• Actively support community volunteer efforts and charitable initiatives.
• Oversee all facets of the restaurant, resolving challenges through effective communication with team members and the community.

Requirements

• 5+ years of successfully running a high-volume, upscale, food-focused restaurant.
• Proven experience delivering top-notch dining experiences.

• Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to navigate important conversations.
