Restaurant Delivery Driver

About the role

Potbelly Sandwich Shop is seeking Delivery Drivers to join our team. This part-time, non-exempt position involves delivering our high-quality Potbelly products quickly, safely, and with exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate Potbelly’s Behaviors and Values—Integrity, Food Loving, Teamwork, Accountability, Positive Energy, Coaching, Delivering Results through Execution, Building and Inspiring Teams, Creating Potbelly “Fans”—through all interactions.
• Provide quick and friendly delivery service and set-up.
• Effectively handle customer complaints/issues.
• Perform other Associate duties as assigned, including:
• Preparing quality finished products at various stations.
• Complying with health and food safety standards.
• Restocking items.
• Cleaning.
• Operating the cash register.
• Answering the phone.
• Providing great customer service.
• Following Potbelly policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Represent The Potbelly Advantage and Our Values with excellent customer service skills.
• A valid driver’s license and a vehicle to drive.
• A driving record in good standing.
• Proof of insurance covering property damage and bodily injury of at least $50,000 per person and $100,000 per accident.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Experience in food delivery is a plus.
