About the role

The Restaurant Clerk position at El Super is a key contact point for customer service. This role involves assisting with the preparation of grilled and hot food items, adhering to precise company standards for preparation and presentation, and maintaining a clean and inviting restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of grilled and hot food items, following precise company standards for preparation and presentation.
• Maintain a clean and inviting restaurant environment.
• Work a variety of hours including nights and weekends.
• Must have a Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

Qualifications

• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate (preferred).
