Restaurant Cashier Location: Pineville, LA Pay: $13.00 per hour Schedule: Flexible Shifts, Including Mornings, Days, Evenings, and Weekends Weekend Requirement: Required as Scheduled Opportunity: Temporary to Hire position with potential for permanent employment Job Description Remedy Staffing is currently seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer focused Restaurant Cashier for a busy local restaurant. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately processing customer orders and payments, and helping maintain a clean and welcoming dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast paced setting. Duties & Responsibilities Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner. Accurately take customer orders Process cash, credit card, and electronic payments. Maintain an accurate cash drawer and balance receipts at the end of each shift. Assist with food packaging and order preparation as needed. Maintain cleanliness of cashier stations, dining areas, and service counters. Restock supplies, condiments, and beverage stations as needed. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred. Previous cashier, retail, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred. Basic math and cash handling skills. Strong communication and customer service abilities. Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Commitment to maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
