Restaurant Cashier $16 - $19

About the role

Hiring Immediately for a Restaurant Cashier position at our awesome Taco shop. We're looking for a dedicated Counter Server who loves Tacos and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Enthusiastically greet every Guest with a smile and positive attitude
• Take Guests' order using the Velvet Taco steps of service
• Ensure dine-in, to-go and call-in orders are properly rung up in the POS
• Handle all cash, credit card and gift card transactions
• Check identification before serving alcohol according to state law
• Maintain a clean, sanitized service area
• Maintain a driven, intense pace with good cleaning habits throughout shift
• Other functions as assigned by management

Requirements

• Love Tacos and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of all food & beverage menu items
• Full knowledge of POS system
• Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions
• Good cleaning habits
