Responsibilities

• Adhere to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards
• Provide wine, liquor, and related bar service to guests and cocktail servers at assigned stations
• Mix drinks according to prescribed recipes
• Keep station stocked with liquor, glasses, and accessories
• Maintain integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities
• Provide fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service
• Maintain cleanliness of designated area
• Ice and fill non-alcoholic drinks for servers
• Provide work direction to assigned bar attendants
• Open and close bar according to established procedures
• Maintain and balance a cash drawer, credit charges, and servers’ food transactions, including tips
• Resolve service issues according to established guidelines
• Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned
• Maintain strict confidentiality in all company matters

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Minimum one (1) year of experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluent and literate in English
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
• Cash handling experience
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple ongoing activities, projects, or assignments
• High energy and proactive, strategic approach to issues
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work at a fast pace with a sense of urgency
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to maintain poise when receiving multiple guest requests
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels
• Ability to move efficiently around the bar area
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed

Pay

$8.50 per hour plus tips (average $150 per shift). Starting salary up to $25.00 per hour.

Schedule

Varies between 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm.
