Responsibilities

  • Promote and provide excellent guest service experiences to both internal and external guests.
  • Manage all aspects of restaurant operations within a casino environment.
  • Achieve operational objectives by contributing to strategic plans, preparing and completing action plans, implementing production, productivity, quality, and guest-service standards, resolving problems, identifying trends, determining system improvements, and implementing positive change.
  • Actively coach, counsel, direct, train, and mentor team members to meet company standards.
  • Maintain ambiance by controlling lighting, background music, linen service, glassware, dinnerware, and utensil quality and placement; monitor food presentation and service.
  • Ensure total compliance with all alcohol service policies and address all alcohol service or compliance issues immediately and compliantly.
  • Ensure Point of Sale Systems (POS) are in working order; audit for accuracy of Payment Card (PCI) compliance, charges, and cash handling procedures.
  • Maintain a dependable work attendance record with minimal absences or lateness.
  • Perform other special projects and duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise multiple employees.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in restaurant operations required.
  • Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly and perform basic math functions related to point-of-sale/credit transactions, cash reconciliation, and product inventory.
  • Must acquire and maintain a valid Gila River Environmental Health Food Handlers Card, Alcohol Awareness Certification, Blood-Borne Pathogens (BBP), and other required compliance trainings.
  • Ability to perform the GILA WAY: Greet our guest, Interact positively with our guest, Listen actively to our guest, Appreciate our guest.
  • Excellent guest service skills, strong telephone etiquette, and ability to work as a self-starter with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and gain cooperation from guests and team members.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Must have or acquire within one year an in-depth knowledge and thorough understanding of Enterprise Policies and Procedures, governmental regulations, and technical rules relevant to responsibilities.
