Rest & Recovery Specialist

Help create a welcoming space for rest, recovery, and wellness at the Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness Center in Bentonville, AR. In this unique role, you'll be the first point of contact for members looking to relax and recharge, guiding them through innovative recovery technologies and delivering exceptional wellness experiences. Responsibilities
- Oversee recovery suite areas – both complimentary and paid services; interact with participants and monitor equipment and participant safety.
- Provide direct program services in a variety of areas (e.g., cryotherapy, treatment, hydrotherapy, compression, red light, etc.).
- Demonstrate and guide guests through multiple recovery technologies for a quality experience.
- Serve as the first impression for guests seeking to relax and rejuvenate.
- May assist with marketing and communication.
- Assist with Whole Health programming.
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma and 1+ years’ experience in the health and wellness field.
- Demonstrated commitment to a health-related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1+ years’ related industry experience.
- Adult & pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid certification through American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or American Safety & Health Institute (required prior to start date).
- Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills, including the ability to motivate others.
- Competency in the delivery of HealthFitness and site-specific programs and services.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and working knowledge of member management systems, databases, and other software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in massage therapy, recovery, stretching, or related fields.
Pay
The compensation range for this role is $17.00 - $18.70 per hour. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
Schedule
Monday-Friday, morning shift (40 hours/week).
