Leadership and Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Airbnb Luxe Market Experts in North America and Latin America by setting clear expectations and creating an excellence-focused, growth-oriented culture.
  • Provide commercial oversight, clear guidelines, and practical support for complex host relationships, market launches, and hierarchical appeals.
  • Identify and develop emerging talent within the team to prepare members for taking on more significant tasks and assuming greater responsibilities.
  • Create and maintain a positive, motivating, and inclusive team culture based on collaboration and high performance.

Strategic Regional Growth and Offer Development

  • Oversee the end-to-end offer strategy for North America and Latin America by defining priorities in acquisition, host quality, and portfolio optimization.
  • Guide territory-level strategies by leading teams to adapt their approaches based on market maturity, host segmentation, and competitive context.
  • Develop and scale acquisition programs to integrate exceptional properties into the Airbnb Luxe portfolio, including through direct approaches, partnerships with luxury real estate agencies, and relationships with luxury property managers.
  • Identify markets to exploit and opportunities for offer development across the region, ranging from renowned luxury destinations in the US to emerging markets in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Host Relationships and Quality Standards

  • Promote the Airbnb Luxe brand and quality standards across the region, ensuring each property in the portfolio meets the highest expectations of demanding Airbnb travelers.
  • Support the team in building and maintaining relationships with high-end hosts, property managers, and luxury real estate management firms.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for complex host-hostage and cross-functional issues, ensuring problems are resolved without compromising host trust or the quality of the portfolio.

Performance and Interfunctional Collaboration

  • Manage regional business performance by ensuring markets meet key performance indicators for offers, revenue, and quality.
  • Collaborate with Airbnb Luxe executives, travel services, content and quality, marketing, revenue, policies, and products to launch initiatives that enhance host performance and accelerate offer growth.
  • Share market analysis and host feedback with relevant internal stakeholders to influence product and policy decisions.
  • Share proven manuals and strategies with the global Airbnb Luxe team to foster broader growth.

Qualifications

  • More than 10 years of experience in sales, commercial development, luxury hospitality, or market management, with more than 4 years in a leadership role managing and developing field teams.
  • Deep knowledge of the luxury travel and real estate sectors in North America and/or Latin America, with demonstrated ability to drive local growth in diverse and complex markets.
  • Proven track record in achieving or exceeding acquisition and revenue targets through an effective team in a dynamic environment using KPIs.
  • Experience establishing and managing high-value partnerships with luxury real estate professionals, property managers, or property managers.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and performance dashboards, with the ability to maintain a rigorous process and facilitate data-driven decision-making within the team.
  • Achieve a high level of leadership, with the ability to build credibility and influence senior decision-makers both internally and in the luxury sector.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking, using market data to shape portfolio strategies across diverse and evolving markets.
  • A strong sense of market judgment: quickly assess territories, identify emerging opportunities, and translate these insights into actionable strategies for the team.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills: able to craft compelling presentations for internal stakeholders and seasoned hosts alike.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities, relationships, and markets simultaneously.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory. Spanish is a significant asset.

What We'll Take Care Of You With

  • Your job title may span multiple career levels. Actual base pay is determined by various factors, including training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands.
  • The annualized base pay range for this role is $134,000—$167,000 CAD, which may be modified in the future.
  • The role may also be eligible for bonuses, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
