Responsable maintenance H/F

About the role

Our client is a French industrial group with an international presence, recognized for the quality of its products and operational excellence. You will join a human-scale industrial site known for its autonomy, responsiveness, and close-knit teams. Reporting to the Site Director, you will oversee all maintenance activities and new construction projects to ensure availability, reliability, and continuous improvement of production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Maintenance and New Works teams with hands-on, field-oriented leadership
• Define and deploy preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance plans
• Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of production equipment
• Develop rigorous and autonomous use of the CMMS within the team
• Lead technical shutdowns and modernization projects from study through commissioning
• Draft specifications, manage suppliers and worksites while respecting cost, deadline, quality, and safety standards
• Manage Maintenance and Investment budgets and optimize expenditures
• Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with HSE standards
• Track maintenance KPIs and drive continuous improvement actions
• Collaborate with Production, HSE, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure site performance and continuity

Qualifications

• Higher education degree in industrial maintenance
• Significant experience in an industrial environment
• Background starting in a hands-on role as a maintenance technician or similar operational function, later evolving into managerial responsibilities
