Respite Program Supervisor

  • Oversee respite providers serving Polk, Warren, Dallas, Story, Boone, Hardin, Marshall, and surrounding counties
  • Coordinate with providers, case managers, and families/clients
  • Review and process referrals, match clients with providers, monitor client units
  • Participate in client annual meetings/assessments
  • Network and market the program
  • Conduct home surveys with providers
  • Supervise providers and participate in the hiring process for new providers

About the role

This position oversees Respite Care services for the Central Iowa service area, with a flexible schedule and some work-from-home flexibility. The role is primarily 1st shift but may occasionally require evening meetings. Some local travel required, with very occasional travel to other parts of the state. The team is supportive and fun to work with.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have one of the following:

  • High School Diploma or GED and five years of experience in human services, education, or a human services related field, with 2 years in a leadership position
  • Associate's Degree and three years of related experience, with at least one year in a leadership role
  • Bachelor's Degree in a human services related field and one year of related experience
