Respiratory Therapy Full-Time Faculty - Instructor

Over 20,000 Students 11 Campuses Competency Based Education Online South College is seeking candidates for a full-time and adjunct Faculty position for the developing Respiratory Therapy Program.

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to Program Director.
• Effectively teaches assigned courses.
• Establishes goals and objectives for programs’ courses.
• Prepares action plans and completes remediation to address student classroom and lab deficiencies.
• Maintains student records for completed competencies associated with lab courses.
• Collaboratively reviews curriculum with the Program Director, DCE, and faculty to ensure content is current and coincides with the NBRC TMC and CSE Matrix.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Program Director and/or Dean.

Requirements

• Earned at least a baccalaureate degree from an academic institution accredited by an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (USDE).
• Hold a valid Registered Respiratory Therapy (RRT) credential and current state license.
• Have a minimum of four (4) years’ experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist with at least two (2) years in clinical respiratory care.
• Have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience teaching either as an appointed faculty member in a CoARC-accredited respiratory care program or as a clinical instructor/preceptor for students of such programs.
