Respiratory Therapy - Echo Sonographer - (RPT)

Assumes responsibilities specified by the Manager of Respiratory and is responsible for the performance of clinical examinations and other tasks as assigned. Promotes the mission and philosophy of the overall organization.

Schedule

• Two days a week: Wednesday or Friday and every Thursday
• 3-week weekend rotation
• Willing to cover upcoming maternity leave (4x10 hr shifts)

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical examinations in echocardiography
• Maintain current knowledge through relevant CME courses (minimum 30 hours every 3 years)

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of clinical work experience with neonatal and pediatric echocardiograms
• Significant, broad-based experience in echocardiography testing
• Baccalaureate or Associate Degree
• Registered by one of the following credentialing agencies:
  • ARDMS: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
  • CCI: Registered Cardiovascular Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
