RESPIRATORY THERAPY

About the Role

As a Respiratory Therapist at Integrated Home Care Services (IHCS), you will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in their homes. This includes delivering, setting up, and ensuring the safe and effective use of prescribed respiratory equipment. You will educate patients, caregivers, and family members on equipment operation, maintenance, and safety, while also assessing respiratory needs and coordinating with healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and ensure safe and effective use of respiratory equipment in patients' homes.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on equipment operation, maintenance, cleaning, safety precautions, and troubleshooting.
• Assess patients’ respiratory needs and verify equipment functionality according to physicians’ orders and clinical protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation and coordinate with healthcare providers and internal teams.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care as a trusted resource for patients.

Requirements

• Current RRT or CRT Florida Licensure.
• Knowledge of teaching and training on the use of respiratory equipment.
• Proficiency in software and EHR for proper documentation.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to self-motivate and work independently.
• Bilingual is a plus.
