Respiratory Therapy Apprentice

Responsibilities

• Works under the direction of a licensed Respiratory Therapist.
• Responsible for maintaining an appropriate level of equipment in the various respiratory work areas.
• Assisting the Respiratory Therapists with various procedures and tasks, as directed.
• May be responsible for performing multiple duties that require expertise in the assembly, transport, disinfection, calibration and troubleshooting of respiratory related equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be actively enrolled in a CoARC accredited RT program.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Healthcare preferred.
• CRT‑Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA American Heart Association (90 days preferred).
• If you are 18 or older, have graduated High School or possess a GED, and would be interested in becoming a Respiratory Therapist and may attend Kalamazoo Valley Community College, please apply so that we may consider you for the RT Apprentice Program.

• Employment Type: Part time.
• Shift: Variable (United States of America).
• Weekly Scheduled Hours: 4 Hours.
• Days Worked: Weekend Frequency.
