Respiratory Therapist Traveler Nights

About the role

Provides top of scope practice in direct patient care to provide various imaging and radiologic procedures. Values a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes. Models proficiency through precepting those new to imaging and/or UCHealth. Welcomes new knowledge in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment. Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care.

Responsibilities

• Practices in technologically complex clinical setting managing ventilator integration to adaptive pulmonary support and airway management throughout multiple levels of care.
• Encourages internal growth and promotional opportunity through implantation of various clinical and process improvement projects at the unit, division, regional or system level.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• One year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross certification in BLS (CPR for the Professional Rescuer) with a card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.

Pay

$50.00 per hour plus travel package/stipend. LOCAL Traveler contract options available for those who reside within 75 miles. 13 week assignments available.

Schedule

Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks). Shift: Nights.
