About the role
Responsible for providing respiratory therapy services to patients in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Administering respiratory treatments and monitoring patient responses
- Assessing patient conditions and developing treatment plans
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- State of Virginia licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)
- Certification as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC), RRT preferred
- BLS and ACLS certification
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 3 years related work experience in Acute care

- Strong clinical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
