Respiratory Therapist Supervisor - Pediatrics - Full-Time Days

About the Role

Responsible for maintaining high patient care standards in hospital or clinic settings, supervising therapists and EKG technicians, and coordinating staff activities.

Responsibilities

• Attends meetings and communicates with physicians and clinicians
• Participates in chart audits and quality improvement initiatives
• Maintains equipment and ensures medication security
• Oversees proper blood gas analyzer maintenance
• Provides age-appropriate patient care, respecting privacy and communication needs

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
• 2+ years of adult care experience
• Current Respiratory Therapist license
• Certifications: NBRC, BLS, and ACLS (PALS preferred)

Skills & Abilities

• Proficient in computer use, data entry, and Windows applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for team and patient interactions
• Knowledge of healthcare laws, standards, and compliance
• Ability to handle physical demands, including heavy lifting and exposure to biological hazards

Works directly with patients and specimens in a healthcare environment.
