Respiratory Therapist SNF

Salary: $46.00 per hour, 12-hour shifts

Responsibilities

As a Respiratory Therapist (RRT), you will be responsible for the evaluation, treatment, and care of residents with breathing disorders. Under the direction of a physician, you will:

• Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment to be used in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases.
• Carefully monitor each resident’s physiological responses to therapy.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience providing direct Respiratory Therapy.
• Current Respiratory License in the state.
• Ability to work under stress and in emergency situations.
• Current and valid CPR/BLS certification.
• Knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with multiple residents.
• Experience in an acute care respiratory unit or Skilled Nursing environment.
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC).
