Responsibilities
- Responsible for the evaluation, treatment, and care of residents with breathing disorders
- Under the direction of a physician, set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment to be used in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases
- Carefully monitor each resident’s physiological responses to therapy
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience providing direct Respiratory Therapy
- Current Respiratory License in the state
- Ability to work under stress and in emergency situations
- Current and valid CPR/BLS certification
- Knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
Nice to have
- Experience working with multiple residents
- Experience in an acute care respiratory unit or Skilled Nursing environment
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC)

Salary Range: $35–$40 per hour
