Respiratory Therapist SNF

About the role

We are now hiring a Full-Time Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) to join our dynamic team!

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, and care for residents with breathing disorders.
• Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment under the direction of a physician.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of treatments and patient progress.
• Monitor each resident's physiological responses to therapy and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety protocols.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience providing direct Respiratory Therapy.
• Current Respiratory License in the state.
• Current and valid CPR/BLS certification.
• Knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.

Qualifications

• Nice to have: Experience working with multiple residents, experience in an acute care respiratory unit or Skilled Nursing environment, and experience with PointClickCare (PCC).
