Respiratory Therapist SNF

About the role

We are now hiring a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) to join our dynamic team!

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, and care for residents with breathing disorders under the direction of a physician.
• Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment for the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases.
• Maintain accurate records of each resident's progress and responses to therapy.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain a calm and supportive environment for residents during therapy sessions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience providing direct Respiratory Therapy.
• Current Respiratory License in the state.
• Current and valid CPR/BLS certification.
• Knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.

Nice to have

• Experience working with multiple residents.
• Experience in an acute care respiratory unit or Skilled Nursing environment.
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC).
