Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED.
- A valid respiratory therapist license in the state of Oklahoma.
About the Role
Respiratory therapists are essential members of a facility's medical team, helping patients treat and manage cardio-pulmonary diseases and disorders. Responsibilities may include:
- Conducting, performing, and analyzing pulmonary function tests.
- Assisting physicians and nurses in creating treatment plans.
- Administering aerosol medications and providing chest physical therapy.
- Teaching patients how to use equipment and administer medications without assistance.
