Respiratory Therapist (RT)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) to join our dynamic team at Park View Nursing and Subacute. This position offers competitive wages, great benefits, growth opportunities, and continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, and care for residents with breathing disorders under the direction of a physician.
• Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment for diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases.
• Maintain accurate records and document patient progress.
• Monitor residents' physiological responses to therapy and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety protocols.

Requirements

• At least 2-4 years of experience providing direct Respiratory Therapy.
• Current Respiratory License in the state.
• Valid CPR/BLS certification.
• Knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, and relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines.

Nice to have

• Experience working with multiple residents.
• Experience in an acute care respiratory unit or Skilled Nursing environment.
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC).
