About the Hospital

Vibra Hospital of Fargo, located in Fargo, ND, is a 31-bed Critical Care Hospital specializing in acute care services for patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. The hospital focuses on medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized facility, it offers a fast-paced and friendly work environment where staff can build close relationships with patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, quality-oriented patient care within the scope of the department's policy/procedure manual.
• Perform support activities including equipment maintenance, changes, inventory, and setup/operation of various types of respiratory care equipment for diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy program.
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
• ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required within six (6) months of hire.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of critical care and/or artificial airway and ventilator care experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
