Respiratory Therapist / RRT or CRT

Responsibilities

• Carry out a program of treatment, management, diagnostic evaluation, and care of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.
• Administer and document medication in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
• Correctly administer Cardiopulmonary Care Services in accordance with Policies and Procedures.
• Precept employees, orient new hires, and students.
• Maintain awareness of environmental conditions and initiate corrective intervention as indicated.
• Maintain a professional relationship with the medical staff.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Completion of a respiratory care program approved by the American Medical Association.
• Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• IDaho Licensed Respiratory Therapist licensure.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Obtain ACLS and NRP within six months of hire and maintain them as current.

Preferred Job Requirements

• PALS certification.

Competitive salary commensurate with experience.

Night shift, full-time.
