Responsibilities
- Carry out a program of treatment, management, diagnostic evaluation, and care of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.
- Administer and document medication in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Correctly administer Cardiopulmonary Care Services in accordance with Policies and Procedures.
- Precept employees, orient new hires, and students.
- Maintain awareness of environmental conditions and initiate corrective intervention as indicated.
- Maintain a professional relationship with the medical staff.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate or Equivalent.
- Completion of a respiratory care program approved by the American Medical Association.
- Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- IDaho Licensed Respiratory Therapist licensure.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- Obtain ACLS and NRP within six months of hire and maintain them as current.
Preferred Job Requirements
- PALS certification.

Pay
Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000 annually.
Schedule
