Respiratory Therapist RRT

This position is sign-on bonus eligible.

What You Will Do

• Provides respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients.
• Manages mechanical ventilation, arterial canalization, endotracheal intubation, and all other procedures applicable to the field of respiratory care.
• Communicates with physicians, nurses, other healthcare workers, patients, and families.
• Practices within the guidelines set forth by the delineation of clinical privileges established by the Medical Director and Department Director.
• Assists with orientation of new employees and students.

Requirements

• High School or GED Diploma Graduate.
• Completion of an AMA-approved college program in Respiratory Care and recognition by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Therapist.
• Current Georgia State license to practice Respiratory Care.
• Current BCLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
