Position Overview: The Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides evaluation and care for patients with respiratory issues, developing and implementing personalized treatment plans based on diagnoses. They assess patient conditions, monitor therapy effectiveness, and adjust treatments as needed, utilizing advanced respiratory technology and modalities. The role involves educating patients and families about health conditions and community resources, maintaining infection control policies, and demonstrating competency with all equipment. Responsibilities include performing pulmonary function screenings, administering respiratory medications, and evaluating patient outcomes to optimize care.
