About the Role
A graduate or certified Respiratory Therapist who, under medical supervision, performs specialized diagnostic tests such as spirometry, lung volume, and diffusion capacity, bronchoscopies, endobronchial ultrasound, blood gas analysis, and related machine maintenance. Also instructs patients on application of home sleep study equipment and assists with scoring under the general supervision of a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and the Medical Director (MD, PhD, DO).
Requirements
- Associate Degree – Graduate of an approved Respiratory program
- Licensed to practice as a Respiratory Therapist by the state of employment
- Current BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS, PALS, or NRP certification
