Job Summary

To administer general respiratory care modalities in all areas, excluding NICU, in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures.

Function independently in PICU and all adult intensive care areas.

Implement and monitor therapeutic modalities per physician's orders.

Provide on call staffing for department needs.

What You’ll Need To Apply

• Required Education: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
• Required Experience: None
• Required Certification/License/Registry:
  • Must possess & maintain licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist with the State of Florida Department of Health
  • Must possess & maintain Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
  • Must possess & maintain Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS)
  • Must possess & maintain Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification (PALS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification (NRP) preferred - must be obtained within 90 days of start
