Job Summary
Respiratory Therapists are an integral part of the team of medical practitioners providing care to our patients. This position works 72 hours per pay period, rotating weekends, and offers flexibility in choosing a specialty area such as NICU, PICU, Adult ICU, Tobacco Education, Pulmonary Function, or Transport.
About the Role
This department is part of a Level II Trauma Center and seeks candidates who are confident in their skills while also willing to assist where needed. The department offers opportunities for advancement and reimbursement for certifications.
Qualifications
- A degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited program is required.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of respiratory care procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Must have current Respiratory Therapy licensure and be registered through the National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT).
- Must have relevant certifications such as BLS, NRP, ACLS, PALS, etc.
