Respiratory Therapist (RCP, RRT)

Position Overview

As a Respiratory Therapist, you'll deliver comprehensive respiratory care through detailed assessments, targeted therapies, and continuous monitoring of residents. This role supports both our acute care and long-term care residents ensuring the highest clinical care and documentation standards are followed.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs detailed cardiopulmonary assessments, including reviewing patient history, conducting bedside PFT’s and reviewing radiological studies and lab tests.
• Recommends and administers appropriate care plans and therapies based on resident assessments and adjusts treatment as needed.
• Maintains accurate records and ensures compliance with all company policies and requirements.
• Administers medical gases, aerosols, humidification, and pharmacological agents as prescribed.
• Provides emergency respiratory care including CPR and airway management as required.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses and all healthcare professionals to provide holistic coordination of care.

Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Care professional (RCP) license in the practicing state
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care
