Respiratory Therapist - Pulmonary Function Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pulmonary diagnostic testing, including spirometry, lung volume studies, DLCO, airway resistance, and methacholine challenges.
• Absorb and document abnormal findings accurately, communicate urgent concerns, and support quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist with interventions such as thoracentesis.
• Manage daily schedules to optimize productivity.
• Provide effective handoffs to team members.

Qualifications

• Certification in BLS and ACLS within 3 months (preferred).
• PREFERRED: Certification as a Pulmonary Function Tech or registration.
• An associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy.

Benefits

• Compensation up to $300/hr.

Schedule

• PRN role requiring working at least one shift per week.
