Respiratory Therapist - PRN, Night Shift

About the role

Provide comprehensive respiratory care in various hospital units, including ICU, NICU, and outpatient pulmonary labs.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and deliver respiratory procedures for adults and neonates
• Manage equipment such as ventilators and CPAP machines
• Conduct blood gas analyses
• Care for neonatal patients in labor and delivery
• Assist with bronchoscopy using disposable tools
• Provide patient and family education
• Participate in cross-training opportunities and professional development courses
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
• Previous neonatal respiratory care experience or successful completion of orientation with competency validation
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and licensed by the State Board of Medical Examiners
• Current BCLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Actively practicing and maintaining competencies in adult and neonatal care

Qualifications

Neonatal Pediatric Specialist credential preferred.
