Respiratory Therapist - PRN
Job Summary
The Registered Respiratory Care Therapist performs all duties of a Certified Respiratory Therapist, as well as takes an active roll in service education and orientation programs. Works closely with the Respiratory Care Specialist in evaluating respiratory care modality efficacy and protocol programs. Interprets information and communicates effectively, performs simple mathematical computations, uses problem-solving techniques, good interpersonal skills, and organizational skills. Provides care appropriate to the age of the patient, including the unique physical and psychological needs of neonates, pediatrics, adults, and the elderly.
Education
- Successful completion of a two (2) year AMA approved program or equivalent.
- Accredited by CoARC for respiratory care.
- High School Diploma - Required
Experience
- Minimum of one (1) year related respiratory care experience - Preferred
