Respiratory Therapist providing patient care and diagnostic services across diverse age groups.

Responsibilities

• Perform therapeutic procedures, monitor and wean oxygen therapy and ventilation
• Analyze arterial blood gases and EKGs
• Assist with airway management
• Document clinical information
• Educate patients and staff
• Ensure compliance with laws and standards
• Deliver patient-centered care based on physical and psychosocial needs
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Adapt communication to patient demographics
• Uphold safety and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred)
• Valid state license
• NBRC certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
• BLS certification
• Proficiency in computer applications
• Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills
• Adaptability to different patient populations
