About the role
The Polysomnographic Technologist/RCP is a registered professional specializing in sleep studies and respiratory therapy.
Responsibilities
- Conducting sleep assessments, staging, and scoring sleep events according to AASM standards, with quality assurance responsibilities.
- Patient assessment, diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.
- Performing polysomnography, EEG, MSLT/MWT, oxygen and ventilator titration, airway management, blood gas sampling.
- Mentoring and supervising new staff, ensuring adherence to protocols, and providing coverage as needed.
- Calibrating and troubleshooting equipment, implementing new testing modalities, and overseeing supply inventory.
Requirements
- An Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy.
- An Ohio Respiratory Care Professionals License.
- Night shift availability.
