Respiratory Therapist/Polysomnographer

About the role

The Full-time position is located in the Sleep Lab at the main campus, requiring 36 hours per week on night shifts (7:30 PM – 7:00 AM, 7 nights/week).

Responsibilities

• Performs sleep studies, sleep staging, and scoring of sleep events per AASM standards, providing quality assurance feedback.
• Collaborates with leadership to ensure high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic sleep services.
• Conducts patient assessments, manages sleep disorders, and educates patients and families.
• Handles equipment calibration, troubleshooting, and implements new test modalities.
• Overserves supply inventory, mentors staff, and supervises new technicians.

Requirements

• Qualified Polysomnographic Technologist/RCP who is a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Requires Ohio Respiratory Care Professionals License and an associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy.
