Respiratory Therapist/Polysomnographer

About the role

The Polysomnographic Technologist/RCP is a registered professional with expertise in conducting sleep studies, sleep staging, and scoring sleep events per AASM standards.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality assurance feedback, collaborates with leadership, and ensures high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic sleep services.
• Performs patient assessments, manages sleep disorders through polysomnography, EEG, MSLT/MWT, and applies therapies like oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilators.
• Handles equipment calibration, troubleshooting, and implements new testing modalities.
• Mentors staff, oversees supplies, and provides patient and family education.

Requirements

• Requires Ohio RCP license and an associate degree in Respiratory Therapy.

Pay

Full-time position in the Sleep Lab at Dayton Children’s Main Campus, working 36 hours/week on night shifts (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.).
