Respiratory Therapist - Per Diem Nights

About the role

Regency Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronically ill patients. Respiratory Therapists (RTs) play a crucial role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must possess an Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred), high school transcript/diploma, or GED.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) is required upon hire. ACLS is required upon hire for Agency RTs.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay

$46.00 per hour, plus competitive shift differentials for nights and weekends.
