Respiratory Therapist / Nurse

Lincare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist or Nurse to join a growing team, focusing on the setup of home medical equipment and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and provide education on home medical equipment, including CPAP/BiPAP machines, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators, and mechanical ventilators.
• Inspect, test, and adjust home medical equipment to ensure safe and efficient functionality.
• Review prescription and patient information to assess condition and determine suitable treatment administration, compatible with physician orders.
• Maintain complete and organized patient records in compliance with accreditation standards.
• Stay current with respiratory homecare techniques and relevant respiratory therapy concepts.
• Work on-call after hours and weekends as needed (frequency determined by center size and employee availability).
