Respiratory Therapist - Nights, Pediatric - Midtown

Responsibilities

• Performs assessments on Pediatric and Neonatal units
• Performs general and critical care respiratory care procedures
• Performs blood gas analysis and interpretation
• Maintains and manages equipment
• Provides patient and family education

Qualifications

Education: Associate's Degree from an accredited school in Respiratory Therapy Required

Work Experience: Previous Working Experience in Neonatal or Pediatric Respiratory care, or successful completion of department-specific orientation, including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level. Required

Licenses and Certifications:

• RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Upon Hire Required
• Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners. Upon Hire Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• ACLS Upon Hire Required
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Upon Hire Required
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Upon Hire Required
• Must be actively practicing and maintaining all required competencies
• Neonatal Pediatric Specialist credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care Preferred
